For National Reconciliation Week, the Australian High Commission in Ghana staged the Indigenous Textiles Fashion Show at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra (June 2017), celebrating Australian and Ghanaian indigenous textiles and the stories behind them. Alexandra Tomiyama was among the featured final-year fashion design students from Radford University College, showing alongside Australian Indigenous designer Arkie Barton and the Aboriginal label Magpie Goose.
